okay heres my problem.
Fresh install of tf2, bug … I go to fire rockets or flares and the graphic seems to come from the right hand side of the weapon, delayed and then vanishes before its target then the splash appears.
Its like the rocket goes invisible for a short time.
heres some screenshots showing as I cba to record etc.

1. I fire, you can see the rocket trail up till a point .. then gone
2. You can see still no rocket trail or rocket, but the mark on the wall appears
3. You can see the explosion and missing section of rocket trail.
As you can see I have a pretty decent fps, my computer seems to be running fine and I hadnt changed anything. I did a reinstall as it was doing this yesterday and figured id altered some graphical option, so reinstalled just to be safe with no luck.
It was fine this morning and only started doing this when I joined a server this evening.
Any ideas ? has anyone heard of this before ?
ps. double checked, does it with demo pipes in that the pipe appears to not come from inside the weapon, and merely fires along the weapon skin, its almost like a form of lag but as my fps doesnt change and ive done it on ‘create server’ I dont understand.
this can be removed I just deleted my cfg folder and its fixed the issue …

NOOO I WANT THAT. GIEV ME YOUR DELETED CFG
I had the same yesterday, but it seemed that some of my rockets did go invisible the same time I shot with my launcher, and sometimes I didn’t even hear the sound of the shots or explosions, just that I saw the splash on the ground, im not sure if it is a bug or lag but, deleting my cfg didnt work :x, halp!
I’ve been getting this often lately, though it seemed to fix itself when I restarted my router so I blamed it on that.
well thats pretty shitty, i never heard of it before :(
