mouse, Razer mamba + steelseries SP

i bought the ss SP befor one month, i tried using it but every time i put the mouse on it it freezes for about 10-20 seconds or when i lift up the mouse for one second and put it back on it it will freeze for a bit too.
anyway i tried using it with another mouse (A4TECH x7) and it worked perfectly..
WTF???
btw, i have razer megalodon headphones (+mic) it has a built audio card with it (usb connection). so i get into mumble/ventrillo and peaple can hear me and thier sefl, and the sounds that are in the computer (stereo mix) how can i fix that!?, on my reg sound device (Realtec something 2.1) all input is set off or lowest so it wont happen but still it does..

hey man i downloaded the megalodon firmware (32bit).. i opend the .exe after i extracted the whole dir, but the firmware updater window wont get over 0%..? how much time does it appromixaly take?
