So I just reinstalled Windows and TF2 along with configs since I got a new SSD.
Everything’s fine except for some reason the chat doesn’t show up unless I manually press y or u. Also, messages I type don’t show for me until I do this.

Anyone had this issue and knows how to fix it?

Did you happen to mute everyone on some pub? :D
If yes, unmute yourself

cl_mute_all_commands 0 should fix that

i’ve had that happen to me too

It’s cl_mute_all_comms 0 though :P
