TF2 crash, then cannot connect to the server.

So I keep on getting a strange bug where my game will crash on either the connect or class selection. Once I restart I will get the connection failed after 4 retrys.
Even if I restart steam and fully shut down my pc it wont connect to that server for awhile, then it just will.
I’d love a solution so I stop looking like a dweeb in mixs and pickups and sometimes scrims, forces us to use a different serve. I haven’t found anything similar on the steam forums or on Google.

Sounds like firewall issues. What security product are you using?
None, I even have Windows firewall off because it interferes with some streaming programs in the house even when i allow the connections.
Ive made sure all services are allowed or denied that may interfere with tf2 with no prevail.
Check the event viewer for more detail error messages
start -> run -> eventvwr.msc -> windows logs -> application
Run a trace route to get more info for your connection issue
start -> run -> cmd -> tracert “ip address”
