Problem with Adware(?)

teej!

So some adware came onto my computer, and was successfully able to remove the folder that had the potential threat.

The problem is is that my steam client gets spammed with random links, like this: http://puu.sh/98Jn1/74927b6998.jpg

I’ve done a fresh reinstall of steam, scanned with Malwarebytes and a ton of other programs, but it still comes up with shit like this.

Okay new problem.

I’ve apparently cleaned, quarantined and deleted all the files according to what Olbaa linked

But it always comes up whenever I log in again, and HitmanPro/MalwareBytes etc doesn’t pick anything up.

Try to boot up into safe mode, and run all the shit from there. Dont forget to download all the scanning programs to your flashdrive (preferrably clean)

I had similar shit several months ago, AdwCleaner worked after MBAM and Hitman Pro had failed.

EDIT: Well fuck, I just helped a spambot with necroing this thread.
