i get some old problem … when im playing tf2center or something like this and using mumble here is normal my ping(120-160) , but in hl scrims ping is going more than 400 …. just if its mumbles fault why when raunds end ping is down to normal :||

i have slow internet , but its cant be internets fault coz if its internet fault my ping will be in prematch also more than 400 and everytime when i using mumble

check your upload and adjust your mumble settings

some time ago i get same asnwer , as i know its server need to accept rate 20000 or something coz on some server are minimum rate 30000 or 40000 cant remember..

Etf2l config is rate 20000 so, if server asks for more you can just ask to exec proper config!

And most obvious reason why you lag only when match starts is because everyone starts speaking in mumble + server has 18 moving players. If players are standing still no extra data is received, its only when they start moving/shooting that you receive more data.

P.S. You can only adjust outgoing mumble bandwidth, not incoming. Its in Audio Input>Compression>Quality section.

i dont played scrim but i played some 6 vs 6 pcws with 20000 rate and i still get some lags in every 2-3 min(900 ping and huge lags) … so rate isnt solution :((
if its internet , i have some internet 24/24 and in tf2center i dont have lags when using mumble and also minimum 8 player talk in mumble … but in scrims … :((
