Prec crash

My tf2 works perfectly without prec. But the second I put in prec, and open tf2, it gives me the “hl2.exe stopped responding” right on startup. I can add other things, like huds, custom taunts in the custom folder, but prec just crashed my tf2.
And I did download it correctly, and placed it correctly, I also have asked many friends with such experience.
I have re installed tf2, and that didn’t seem to fix my problem.
If anyone knows my issue, please help me fix this annoying issue.

Custom taunts…? As in player made taunts.
i have the same problem too. With Prec my tf2 crash, without works perfectly…

Which version of windows? Does it happen when you run as Administrator? Did you place prec inside the “old” tf/addons folder, or in the “new” tf/custom/blabla/addons folder? (both should still work)

You could start by answering the questions I posted ;)
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits sp1, I run tf2 normally on steam and I put p-rec files on custom/my_custom_stuff/addons
Well, I reinstall my tf2 again, reinstall the p-rec, and install this Visual C++ but my tf2 still crashing.

I test it only with p-rec on custom folder to be sure that my cfg aren’t bugging something

I update my windows and my game stop crashing, thanks for those who tried to help me :)
