cant get autoexec to work

i have no idea why this is.
tf2mate, dl config,
used launch options
extracted files to common, teamfortress2, tf, custom, config
nothing happens
no net settings or anything will load
how to fix
I had the same problem, I solved by reinstalling tf2.

holy shit mind is blown
My own configs work perfectly outside of the custom folder, and so should yours according to the official steampipe faq.
And tf2mate is a really bad tool, just saying.
