Since this update, every time i join the Halloween map, my tf2 keeps crashing for no reason. I don’t really know what to do to fix it, can anyone help?

I have the same problem :/
We should wait for a fix.
did you validate already? i had a problem with crashes a few days ago before the halloween update, that fixed it though
Some servers are also crashing on the Halloween map !
Hello :)
Can I get more info about your error, like is it a straight crash to desktop, with no errors, or do you get the hl2.exe error?
If you get the hl2.exe error -> Go to your event viewer (write eventvwr.msc in the run command (windows button + R)) -> Windows logs -> Applications and find a recent hl2.exe crash. Post the exact error message you see in here. It should show info about faulting module path and stuff like that
Thanks.
Some ppl are reporting that changing model quality to high fixes crashing problems (atleast one of them).

There should already be crash dumps in the Steam dumps folder which should give enough information about the issue.

That can also help, but a simple event in event viewer is a good place to start analyzing the crashes. Usually these issues is caused by outdated drivers, as that is something users doesn’t prioritize very highly.
However, as there are loads of users reporting these crashes, it’s reasonable to believe the issue is with TF2.
Here is what you can do yourselves to try and solve the issue:
-Update your graphics driver
-Validate your TF2 files
-As someone else already suggested, you can try and change your model quality to “high” / In general you can try and experiment with the graphic settings, to see if anything works. Also; if you should run a lower dxlevel than your graphiccard is intended for, try and disable that
-If you use FPS Configs, try and deactivate them
-Keep your DirectX up-to-date http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35
-Disable real-time antivirus protection
-Disable mumble overlay
-Wait for TF2 patch :P
