Hey got a new headset today and I cant seem to get the mic to work. It has sound and it does show that the mic is picking up sound. It just wont transfer to sound! HELP! ty
It’s either broken or you have the mic local muted or your sound card’s mic volume is set to 0. Could also be that you have a faulty audio port.

I am guessing you have set it to the default recording device?
haha SIBERIA**. Wondered why the fella in the shop looked at me weird when i asked for it :x
All fixed now thanks had to replace it due to mic being dead. Thanks for the help!
