Graphics card driver fail

I have a GeForce GTX 560 TI and i play with dx8.
I reformatted my pc a few days ago and to play tf2 with dx8 without the flashing textures you need the 306.97 drivers or lower. But when i try to install 306.97 i get this error:
“This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware”
It worked before i reformatted and all the drivers above 306.97 works, i did try to google it etc but meh didnt find anything so i came here for help D: tf2 with dx9 is aids haha.

You might have downloaded the notebook version (happened to me once, it’s the first one that appears if you google the driver), so use this link instead http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-306.97-whql-driver.html

Chris dx9 cfg with mat_phong 0 is pretty much like dx8 high frames
Give it a try if you can’t fix it… I gave up on dx8 cuz does not look like anyone will fix the driver on older gpus :(
