Getting low resolution with 16:9 scale

I want to get a very low pixel like resolution without making me sick (4:3).
800×450 would be nice.
-w 800 -h 450 in the launch options.

it changes it to 800×600 (scaling it to 4:3).
the resolutions avialable to me on this computer are:
1366×768
1280×768
1280×720
1024×768
800×600
I prefer full screen over window mode, but if it won’t work otherwise, I want a no border window streched to full screen:p

Did you try to add custom resolution?
Are you using Intel integrated graphics? If so this might work for you. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-029478.htm
