For at least a week now, my mouse has been freezing. It just stops dead. With a few agressive back and forth motions it moves again… but boy is it annoying. And its been getting worse and worse.

Tried 3 different mice. [all USB though]
Reinstaled drivers for it.
Unchecked the boxes @ power management.
Fixed registry errors

Help ?

trust me, as a low sens player I get this problem on all my mice within months, its usually the cable

that was my first thought aswell.. but happens to a wireless mouse too

my idea is to get an usb/ps2 adapter.. see if that fixes it. but eh…

Maybe you have poor power to your usb ports?

why suddenly ? was fine for years.
and i unchecked the “allow computer to turn off usb to save power” or something in those lines in the device mannager for all the usb ports.

Run something like process explorer to see what is happening at time your mice freezes. But usually these things are hard to troubleshoot :)
