Mouse randomly slows down while in TF2?

Hey guys,
so, my problem is that sometimes, not consistently, but my mouse would randomly go slower for a second and then go back to regular speed. I would like to note that it does NOT GO FASTER, so it can not be mouse acceleration. It slows down. If anyone knows how to fix it, I would be grateful. The mouse is a fresh logitech g400, bought around two weeks ago. I play on a cheap and straight mouse pad.
Sounds a lot like negative accel, if you have the driver installed I’d recommend resetting the profile and uninstalling the driver. I’ve had terrible experiences with problems very similar to yours with the logitech drivers. Additionally try looking if there’s anything caught in the laser hole.

Some mice have hardware level negative or positive acceleration, so it might not be fixable with drivers.
If you’ve given hl2.exe high priority on task manager, it can cause it to slow your mouse processes when tf2 starts to chug.
its windows mouse accel
get a better pc or turn the accel off

Try this, I had the exact same problem with my steelseries driver.

seems legit.
Also thanks to everyone who typed. I do have the driver installed, ill try to delete it I guess.
Doesn’t deleting drivers force it back to 125hz?
Is it just the mouse that acts up? The game runs fine otherwise?
