As you might’ve noticed, the lastest steam update changed the font size for the chat.

Apparently Valve changed E:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/resource/styles/steam.styles to have all the chat windows to have a fontsize of 16.

If you open that file in a file editor, you can go to line 4226 and from there on change every size to 14 instead of 16 up to line 4329, which will revert the changes.

You have to set the file to read only or it’ll get reverted all the time.

Putting it to read only didn’t work. Steam renamed it to steam.styles.old instead and put the default one back. Without read only it seems to be working though.
