I know they’re way overpriced but it’s for a friend who insists he cannot be arsed building his own. Where can he buy the best one for around £1000? Anyone got any recommendations?

pc specialist are pretty decent. Dunno really about the price but the customer service was good.
http://www.aria.co.uk/ Is good. You can choose the components and they will build it for you for £50 extra, know a few people who did that because they didnt want to spend 3/4 hours building the pc or didnt want to learn how.

Online friend, he lives on the other side of the country. I guess if anyone else living near coventry is tech savvy and wants to make some money they could! :D

This. Good gaming PCs don’t need to have the absolute top of the range overpriced bullshit parts, you can get a perfectly awesome rig by compromising on some parts here and there.

By decent i mean something that isn’t going to need more money spent on it in 8 months. Whats the point in spending 1000pounds then having to update again abit later. Just go all out

I spent just a little over £1000 and got the best of everything this gen, won’t need to upgrade anything for at least a year or two
