Ever since the steampipe release, I’m getting this message everytime I try to join a server.

1. What on earth is causing this, and
2. how do i fix it?

he means he gets the message “Sv_pure bypass detected” when trying to join a server, as a popup in the middle of your screen, such as would pop up when getting a kicked notice.

precisely. I am still hunting to find the reason as to why the server would reject my sv_pure setting, as far as i know my sv_pure setting has never been tampered with.
