Here we go again! Today I got a problem with my PC case fans. They didn’t start spinning when I plugged my PC on. I had to reboot my PC couple times until they started spinning. When I started to play TF2 and joined a pub server, my case fans stopped working and my CPU fan started spinning ridiculously fast. When I quitted TF2 my case fans started to spin normally. I’m using Chieftec gpa-500s s8 500W PSU.

Sounds like your fans aren’t plugged in properly or something. Fans don’t put much weight on your PSU so it’s unlikely that that is where the problem resides.

Are these speed controllable fans (usually 3 or 4 wires instead of just 2)? If you plug those into a controller (external or built-in on motherboard) incorrectly I suppose it’s possible they are turned off instead of slowed down.. Wild guess though.

Also make sure they have the room to spin, i.e. nothing is blocking the blades (this happens sometimes if they are screwed in too tight).

I haven’t done anything to those fans expect some dust cleaning. Every fan has 2 wires and they do have enough room to spin.
