If you are using -dxlevel in launch options try to remove it

this worked for me, but at quite a loss of fps (no idea why). thanks
steam inagme overlay doesnt work for me now, try it to set on an different key ,but it doesnt work for me
Everything is fine for me and my dx8 now =D
The game crashed on map change once, but thats significantly better then before :)

Does your mumble overlay work and is it enabled? Mine didn’t work but I still had it enabled in mumble options, and it was conflicting with the steam overlay.
Well they fixed crashing but my TF2 is running at double speed in dx8 now.
