Since like a week ago, I get no sound played and no flashing tab when I get sent a message on steam (and I don’t have the chat as the active window).
I didn’t touch any settings, and when I go to look the settings are as they should be – Play a sound and Flash upon message.

Fix?

Restart Steam/PC? I noticed you said a week ago, but I rarely do either of those (hybernation), and Steam tends to glitch like that for me; ressing fixes it.
