good screen recroding software?

I know there are like a million of the programs, but I can’t find one that records in decent quality. (Tried all kinds of free ones, Snagit)
Suggest anything please

Xsplit, Playclaw, Fraps.
Xsplit: the output file is shit.
Playclaw: Is pretty good, tbh. altho u do need a decent pc. (the compresion is good.)
Fraps: HUGE FILES.
Bandicam strikes a good balance between HDD/CPU rape and picture quality.

May I ask why you say that? I haven’t used Xsplit myself, but their site states that they use the latest x264 encoder to compress to h.264. How can the output file be shit then? It’s basically one of the highest-quality codecs out there…
