Can't join certain servers

For some reason, I can’t connect to certain servers… When I try and “view game info” while a friends in there, it comes up as blank (just the ip and no server info) and when I join it does the old “connection failed after 4 retries”.
I can’t see any correlation between the servers, here are 4 examples of servers I can’t join:
connect lutunen.heppa.eu:20040
connect 109.236.86.140:20044
connect server.easytt.eu:20042
connect 109.236.86.140:20042

Same for me, I cannot connect to some servers (at least to one of the server you have mentioned)
I believe multiplay had some issues earlier this week. I couldn’t connect to i46 pages, etf2l pages and couldn’t connect to pixelpickup servers. Oddly enough some people who are using the same ISP(Sonera) as I am couldn’t connect to any of those aswell.

Not multiplay servers. I for example cannot connect to both Galant hiperz servers after I changed my net.

I’m using OpenDNS.
Could that cause this problem?
I don’t see how the dns server would matter when some ip adresses just can’t be reached.
What happens when you ping the servers you can’t join ?

Cannot even ping. Just shows a “timeout”.
