Hello guys :D
When I play in TF2 with mumble ON, there’s no problem, and I can execute Spotify as well without any problem. But when I want to surf the internet or something like that, my PC crashes and I have to restart it always.
Just happens when I’m using TF2+Mumble and any other application, then the screen turns black, and the performance of the PC go down, and then I have to restart it just pressing the button, cannot do it naturally.
I know that’s hard to understand (more hard to explain) but I’d like to know if this could be problem of memory RAM, or just the Videocard.
Core – Intel Core i5 750 @ 2.67 GHz
Motherboard – Gigabyte P55A-UD3R
Hard Disk – W.D HDD 500 GB
RAM Memory – Kingston DDR3 4GB
Power Supply – Gybabyte Odin 720W OEM
Extra Cooler – Thermaltake Contac 29
Video Card – ATI HD5770 ASUS CORE
So much thanks for reading
Is hard to explain it. When the PC crashes, the mouse stop responding, the application that I was running start going down, and then every single movement that I want to do with the mouse, or typing something is slower than usual, really slow, is like doesn’t have enough power to make it work.
And then the screen goes black. Though can I listen the comms and etc, at least to say “I’m restarting PC, brb”
I did the first and the third option, what u mean with the second one please.
Thanks in advance.
system configuration–>advanced view–>soemthing like energie options or so(i’m not on a windows 7 currently so i cant tell you the exact names)
check if some energy saver options are activated
you have the problem only when tf2+mumble +somethig else is started?
try updating mumble and direct x
Everything done.
When I play TF2+Mumble nothing happens, but the problem is when I have to find enemies on IRC, or just want to chat, or want to surf internet.

how do you “surf”? ie? houston we have a problem
dont really know what it could be, try different dx settings for tf2, check the task manager if it appears again

Could be like maybe Memory Lack? I wwas thinking about upgrading it to 8GB
I can do that with 1gb of ram so no.
if it is an memory lack than it would stucks, and not slow down
slowing down the whole thing on screen–>too less power/driver crashes/general hardware defekt
When this happen is impossible to check task manager. Because already it’s impossible to exec any task.
-dxlevel 81 -sw -w 1366 -h 768 -console -noborder -novid -useforcedmparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd
TF2 Exec settings.

4gigs of ram is pretty much enough for “every” game out there.
edit: make sure there is no dust or something clean it up <:
