Hey guys,
I will be buying a new computer in a month or two. I don’t really know anything about hardware so I would like to ask the geniuses among you to help me assemble a good computer ! Like, what are the things I MUST have and what is extra…Basically I want to buy a computer that runs TF2 without problem.
My budget would be a max. of 1000 euros.
Would be cool if you guys could help me out so that I don’t get ripped off at the store !

do you already have a monitor and other peripherals, i.e. mouse, keyboard or do you need them too?
what could you use again?
do you have a case? harddsik with enough space? a power adaptor?
dont know whats good atm but 1000€ should be enough (maybe with a ssd?)
I have a good mouse, keyboard and a set of speakers :D As far from that I have nothing. I’m currently playing on a laptop so that explains ;p
For playing only TF2 you dont have to spend so much money…..
I would not take a complete PC, I suggest you to buy just the hardware and build yourself. In Germany there is an online shop with builds together your self-chosen hardware for 20 €. Probably there is also a shop in your country.
Actually, If I could hop onto this thread – does anyone have any suggestions for a laptop under £400 that can run tf2 well? (get ~100fps with a chris config, I guess)

The cheaper the better ofcourse, there don’t seem to be any good computer shops around here :(
