Maybe don’t throw your headphones around, I had a fatal1ty headset for a good year, before I gave them to my sister and bought Razer Megalodon’s which I’ve been using for about 1½ year.

What about Sennheiser HD 201?
Still looking for ideas about the monitor. I saw nvc mention a few in a thread while back but those are impossible to find anymore (discontinued?).
Should mention that I had 2 pairs of the fatal1ty set and both lasted beyond the warranty, though both broke down exactly the same way (wire came loose at the headphone end so mic is borked).

Don’t buy shitty products and expect them to last.

@snyppis the jay car headphones I linked to sell for over €100 with a different badge on, and are still considered great for that price. The jaycar’s are exactly the same for €40. Look up Fischer Audio FA-003 / Brainwavz HM5 reviews, it’s the same headphones. Also Panasonic RP-HTF600, Creative Aurvana Live!, Superlux HD668B
