My team is in the waiting list of the Highlander Season 2. Is there any possibility to join to the competition or now that it has started is it impossible?

if some team drops before the season actually starts then you might be put in their spot.

Teams have already dropped from Div 4H, 5E and 6Q, if you speak to an admin on ETF2L IRC you might be able to jump into one of those slots (assuming other teams on the waiting list don’t beat you to it).
