Yeah my mouse lags, my tf2 priority is not set to -high and anyway my mouse lags out of game, it’s more like a delayed reaction, really annoying, it’s a tesco m211 cheapy thing, anyone got some ideas?

You can buy a decent mouse for under £30. Save a pound a day?

Wouldn’t raw input bypass my windows multipler so if my multipler is 0.5 instead of 28.8cm/360 it would be 14.4cm/360? Not really sure on the mechanics or if I’m completely wrong :) Of course I suppose I could just set a lower sens in tf2 that equates to 28.8cm/360 then

in that case just figure out the same sense with it bypassed with http://www.notalent.org/sensitivity/sensitivity.htm

Edit: windows multiplier should always be default

Why is that? :o) and thanks man, I’ll try these things

If you set the windows multiplier above 6 you get issues with the movement of the mouse to movement ingame, something to do with pixel skipping or something, either way, above or below setting 6 can cause irritating problems.

There are cheap mice that are not shit, you should really try and get a little higher grade, at least with custom DPI so you can configure it optimally for FPS, chances are the DPI of the one you are using is bad.

Getting mouse lag is probably a software issue, because no mouse (as far as I know) would have delayed output, even less likley a simple mouse like yours.

Are you on windowed mode and using either Vista or 7? My mouse used to lag aswell in windowed mode and the only way i’ve seen that fixed it was to go to your “team fortress 2” folder (not “tf” folder, the one before), right click on hl2.exe, go to properties, compatibility and check 3rd and 4th boxes (the ones about desktop compositing and visual themes). That fixed the lag and fps problems on windowed mode for me

Using win 7, fullscreen
although I somehow my in-game sens was 2.3 instead of 3.6 which meant that instead of my perfect 28.8cm/360 it was moer like 42cm/360
