My mouse of 2 years broke yesterday :'( (keeps disconnecting then reconnecting, i think its a problem in the wire). It was an Intelli explorer 3.0 and I loved this mouse and I am contemplating buying another one. However they have gone up 4x in price as they are not being made anymore (or so I have heard).
I want to see what other people recommend I should get. I have been looking at the Razer Abyssus, Deathadder and the WMO, however I am not totally convinced by any of these over the Intelli except maybe the WMO.
So tell me what you would recommend or reasons i should get any of these (I am planning on getting the steelseries qck+, so the hitter problem with the Abyssus shouldn’t really be a problem).
I tend to grade my mice by feel > lazer >price = durability>>>>> visual.

Holy shit, that’s the worst news I’ve heard lately. You’ve just made me buy an additional one, they are still sold here.
If you want a mouse that feels similar, you might want to try the Deathadder, but I want to add you might want to try it out first if you haven’t already, as the feel’s similar, not the same.
They’re still around. Don’t know about the price, but they are cheaper than they used to be back in the day in Sweden.

I went from intelli to deathadder, pretty seamless transition, but definitely a noticeable improvement for me.
Can find about 15 stores who have it in stock in Sweden alone. You should be able to get another one, if it is indeed discontinued (that I doubt). But really, the WMO http://www.inet.se/files/img/max/6102051_0.png is better, has vertical edges that makes it easier to lift. EC1 prediction appears to be off the charts http://www.cadred.org/Forums/Thread/122207/ and Death Adder has some funky stuff going when it hit’s malfunction speed. Better stick to good old MS mice.

About the price, over here the 3.0 is €20-30. I think you’ve mistaken the price development for that of the old 3.0 that skyrocketed when it was discontinued. MS reintroduced the mouse in slightly different form (I think) about 2 years later and that is the one still available today. The darker one is the most recent. http://www.dansdata.com/images/blog/meeces1280.jpg
