No, it’s not a bestiality thread. Sorry.
My mouse recently broke, it freezes for about half a second every time I flick to the left in TF2 (fast flick, and only does it when I flick to the left). Then it pauses for about half a second, unfreezes, suddenly does all the other movements I did half a second ago and resumes normal duties. It’s a DELL mouse and I don’t use a mousepad, but it has been fine for about a year now and I don’t intend to buy a new one.
This bug only happens in TF2, not while I’m flicking my mouse about on the desktop, and I do have raw input on tf2.
Help me please, thinking it might be software issue rather than the bad mouse and it is seriously annoying when I run into a wall instead of doing a rocketjump.
by an inteli mouse for like £13 on amazon, and a cheap mousemat. my old roccat kova did the same thing you’re saying lost connection in tf2 but out of tf2 it was fine, i had tried reinstalling the drivers and firmware – even called overclockers where i bought it from to see if they knew if there was anything i could do.
Ended up getting inteli, awesome mouse.
Logitech best company though, break mouse? np send it in and they replace! :D
How come you’re opposed to replacing it? Surely it’s dirt cheap and a pretty generic shape if it’s a basic dell mouse.
The only reason I don’t want to replace it is that someone said it can’t be a hardware issue because it wouldn’t suddenly do all those actions after freezing. I assume if the mouse was broken it would just freeze, then carry on without a ‘memory’ – it lagging behind sounded like a software issue to him.

I don’t know man, tf2 seems to always have mouse problems for me. Things break in tf2 that work on desktop for me too. It really does fix it if you replace it. Worked for me at least.
