Less fps since the latest Halloween update

Used to have constant 130 fps, now its about 30. :)
I hope its a bug that Valve can fix since, this has made TF2 unplayable.
Also this is happening to others as it seems.

Since the update, yes. I used to have a stable 60 fps. Now my fps will randomly drop to 15 or less, where randomly=about every 10 seconds and it feels like it’s worse when I uber. Plus the random freezes that everyone seems to have. Wasn’t having much fun playing tf2 the last couple of nights… And there is literally nothing left that I could lower in my settings, and the tribers are up to date, etc etc.

yeah, have the same freezes with my laptop, unplayable…but hey we got new hats right?

That’s as simple as it gets. Original recommended specs for this game are no longer relevant as the updates have made the game hungrier than before.
That amd athlon was never going to be a decent choice to play games on source engine anyway.
edit: and we did get new hats.

tf2 is very poor programmed(because of the updates of course)
it wouldn´t be that much problem to implement alot of performance without any new technology or techniques but no one @valve does so we need al least hardware twice as good for tf2 to get decent fps as really needed…

still havnt seen performance decrease on timedemo for over a year now, in fact its getting better

Buy one for me or find me a job in Lithuania and i will pay you.
It’s honestly impossible if you have got no good contacts or you aren’t over 18.
I can play example. Fallout 3, NV easily without any lags and almost full graphics.
I did play BF3 Beta for a bit, seemed to run well.
Don’t think its my PC.
Also, im thinking its the Source engines fault since I tried playing CSS also and had worse fps than the last time I played, not sure though.
+ This is the first TF2 update that actually took some FPS from me..
