yeah but wordpress does’t seem to have a forum built in, well not that i found yet. seems to be a plugin, if it was not for this plugin only admins would be able to post. however i could be total wrong?
would just be nice if someone who knew about it could explain.

:D Bottom line: don’t use what we’re using, the public version of this forum plugin is years old and has far less features and far more bugs. You’re better off finding something nice yourself.
Maybe take a look at bbpress 2.0 if you want something that isn’t too bloated: http://bbpress.org (I have no experience with this version, but I did like the 1.x version and this one sounds promising.)
