im need “hit damage sound” from Warsow ;<

Open up the main pak file (iirc it has a .pk3 extension) with winzip/winrar/7zip and navigate to the sound folder. The hitsound should be in that folder somewhere, then it’s just a matter of renaming the .wav file to hitsound.wav and putting it into the tf/sound/ui directory.

Sorry that I can’t go into much detail, I’m probably 3 times over my bandwidth limit and can’t really afford to re-download Warsow. :)

Exactly the same sound as in those videos, except there is more echo in them.

Not my problem if lots of videos on YouTube and on the dingalings website are apparently “wrong”. Thanks for letting me know though, I think it made the world a better place.
