yes, because i know of so many 1000w home consumer CPUs.
I’d be shocked if your computer with a GTX560 drew more than 350W at any time. The card itself is rated at 170W max, so you really don’t need 750W. On the other hand, buying a high capacity power supply will leave you plenty of room for future upgrades.

There is nothing like a GPU not compatible with a CPU or mobo, CPU doesn’t have anything related to GPU compatibility (unless you are trying to find a sweet spot of performance between your GPU and CPU, thats not compatibility anyway..), and I guess 98% of mobos got at least one PCIe x16 slot so you’ll be fine with any GPU.
A good brand 550w (Antec, OCZ, not cooler master) can handle a good GTX570 system with ease.
