IRC doesn't remember topic set

Set the topic last night, log on this morning and see there’s no topic set anymore nor is there any in my history. No idea what’s suddenly causing this. :s
Is the channel registered?
Are there other people who have the right to edit the topic?

It’s registered, only Galant and I can set topic and he’s at Assembly (thus not on IRC).
Bill, its probably the IRC Server you’re connect to to quakenet (try another one) that may not have the topic information, alternativly there should be a way to search your “logs” and copy/paste it back in.
It happens sometimes.
I ran into this issue with Pixel Pickup, the solution was just to change the topic by doing it via Q (PMing settopic to it) rather than just the built in IRC method. It should work but it doesn’t.

the topic is “cleansed” if the channel has no people in it, unless you set CHANFLAGS +t
