Hi, I’m currently on the lookout for decent mumble or teamspeak server providers. Currently we’re using a mumble server provided by Verygames, but we always seem to get random disconnections. I’ve heard good things from teamspeak so would be interesting to see what ts has to offer.
Thanks in advanced, Ray. x
Don’t use TS, what if you have to merc someone?
TS3 is just the same as mumble in my opinion i can’t tell any difference in sound quality. Just get a free mumble channel from Exfane/Arie and put a password on the room and job done.
only really play 6v6 everynow and then for the lols, just thought this would be a pretty good place to ask this question. and we were looking for our own server just because i’d like to start getting a sc2 group/hon group together where it would be our own little community and not have to bother with loads of different channels just to find ours :) thanks anyway tapley

then the merc should use TS?!
nice argument use mumble coz of mercs
Mumble > teamspeak, that is all.
What you asking raye? What is prefered or if someone can offer you one?
ts3 is quite awesome, easy to setup and voice quality is fine as well
maybe try http://gc-server.de/v2/
they are pretty cheap and have good support
Murmur uses damn all memory. Get a small VPS or install it on someone’s ddwrt router.

i’m asking if anyone knows of any websites where i can buy a mumble or teamspeak server basically.
tested ts3 and mumble, same delay, quality the same imo. Would use mumble tho, because if you need a merc who has ts3 not installed, i bet he won’t install it just for you.
ts3 has some really nice options, like changing the volume for every single player etc, mumble should implement that tbh
I like both – if you only need it for voice & send some text messages, mumble is good enough.
However I prefer ts3 because of easy filesharing etc. lots of extras after all.
Still for ingame voice only mumble and ts3 are both roughly the same
