Hey, i have an update waiting its the windows 7 service pack 1 for x64 based systems update.
Last time i installed this my computer would restart and then be stuck on 46% configured and i left it for 3 hours and would not go any higher.
Should i install it and hope that it will work or not bother?
or not bother if cracked or somthing

my windows 7 is legit if thats what u mean
if u feel that ur system is modified enough to not finish upgrading then dont do it… mostly sp1 is just updates u can download from same tool anyway
Did you check your application/system logs to see if there are any errors related to your problem? If it’s stuck installing the update, I would try going back to your last system backup and restore (if it’s enabled), and try updating again. And if you got a legit version of Windows 7, you can always contact Microsoft servicedesk for questions. Doesn’t sound like a huge problem.

Delete the folder where your temporary windows update download files are kept, and it’ll redownload this update and re-install again, hopefully without an issue. I cant remember where the folder is on win7 but have a quick google.
