So basically, my video card died about a month ago, couldn’t even launch my pc without getting blu screen of death or broken textures in tf2 all the time.
I read something about fixing it on the internet, so exactly one week ago i tried this out and recorded the process.
Long story short: my graphics card was broken, i baked it in the oven and now it works fine. Get 200+ fps maxed settings at tf2 again.

had this card aswell, fucking bollocks it is – 105C with default cooler… but i just stiched an intel cpu cooler to it, plugged it in sys_fan and never had problems again… also full load at 65C
Which card is that?

will you please bake my laptop
it’s the same process people do with broken xbox’s. I’m guessing, in theory, it melts back broken leads and transistors in working shape. Surprisingly, it’s quite a successful way of fixing artifacted graphic cards.
you would’t belive the amount of stuff i have fixed using freezers and ovens. or similar theory, but can confirm that this works 95% of the time. 8 mins is more than long enough, will be a good solid contact now. altho the other way arround on the baking sheet and some coins on the CPU would have made a more soli contact.
–Edit–
This usualy only works with nvidia 8 series cards, but does work on other if you have the same kind of issue this guy had in his video.
