new monitor?

I was wondering what quality of monitor i would expect for £100.
currently using a 16:10 with a max res of 1440×900
I’m not very well informed on monitors and was wondering if it was worth upgrading due to it being a very old monitor and im looking for something with better quality.
The make of the current monitor is acer if thats any help at all. just looked at the website and they don’t even sell these monitors anymore

are you wanting better image quality or better performance?
doubt you get something of better “quality” for a 100£… why not stick with the one you have?

i agree, but some people prefer better colours etc than higher hz
