So I could just buy Asus P8P67-M B3, cuz I don’t really need any extras.
It is microATX, P8P67 is ATX. Thats the big difference but just go to asus site and click compare on the mobos, then you will see it more clear.
But the differences is in expansion-slots, sli-support and other things but it is easier to see for yourself than for us to explain it all :)

H67 uses the integrated sandybridge cpu, stay away from it.
As for the difference, pro has bluetooth and a couple of additional features.
The standard P8P67 has bluetooth
Also if you’re getting a crossfire motherboard surely looking ATI cards is a better option?
6950 is an amazing card and you can flash it to 6970 shaders

I Have the P8P67 (not pro) myself and i can vouch for it, great stability and easy to overclock (aint them all ;) )

If you like drivers that suck donkey dick AMD is your best bet.
in what way do they suck donkey dick. not trying to get into a fanboy flamewar. but any game experiencing trouble with ati drivers is entirely the games fault.

i dont even need to run a game to see that they make my system go slow

Yeah, kinda sucks though that nvidia drivers hardly have any problems with new games while ADM cards do (kept for some sli issues). Besides that, have you EVER tried to hook up a AMD card to a projector? My god, talk about impossible. I’ve literally had 4 AMD cards that just refused to drive it natively (had to get powerstrip to get a decent result). The first nvidia gpu I hooked it up to did it out of the box. gg. Maybe they fixed it with the 4/5/6 series but you wont ever see me buy that crap ever again. I’ll rather pay 10% extra to get proper drivers. The AMD control center (ccc?) is fucking dogshit to. Setting up multiple monitors works way quicker with nvidia.
Not trying to be a fanboy, I’d gladly pay less money if the product was the same but it simply isnt.

Even if this were true, why isn’t nvidia experiencing these issues?
I used to be an nvidia fan boy for a few years, I refused to go AMD but with my most recent upgrade I went with a 6950, not had any problems with it, performs well, not had any driver crashes (which I used to get sometimes on nvidia) so far I’m really happy with it, had it for about 4 months now
no point wasting money on new gpu by second hand. especially if its a comp gaming machine, you dont need/ benefit from latest gpu hardware in terms of ££££’s
(you dont gain enough performance to warrant buying a current gen card, when £150 on ebay can get you last years top end card, which will blow the shit out of a new gen £150 card)
also:
in crossfire is the best way to spend £150/£170 on a graphics card/s (in terms of pure performance for money.)
benefits:
huge graphics power compared to ANYTHING at that price range
will run any game at high settings (except brink obviously lol)
your only limitations are:
power consumption
heat
dx10.1
OK, this is what I came up with: http://www.dateks.lv/grozs?content=q1ZKL8qvKlayqlYyNTQ2MAExirMTM0uAQoa1OkqmBsYmxuiCxuaGpkYYKo0tTTC1G5mZmqELmpibWlqiCtbWAgA%3D
Which psu should I take, which gx card is better, and will all of these parts be compatible with each other?
@Sketch As i wrote before i’m not looking at double gx cards, and power consumption is a limitation for me.

sorry i have to bite:
So you are basically saying that because splash damage studio failed to make a game that was compatible with current hardware which runs on tried and tested drivers, which have performed well in many brand new games over the last 3 years or so, it is ati’s fault? THIS IS ATI’S FAULT? I applaud you for your boundless ignorance in the face of basic common sense and also for your grotesque stupidity in believing so much fanboy bullshit. i believe i dont need to say any more on the matter, it kind of argues for its self.
+ but remember this http://www.zdnet.com/blog/hardware/warning-nvidia-19675-drivers-can-kill-your-graphics-card/7551 funny i don’t remember ati ever having this problem with their drivers.
you speak bullshit.
Anyone saying my card is the best because of the drivers, or my card is the best because i get more fps in “insert individual game name here”(which has been developed entirely on said brands hardware) is obviously of comparable intellect to an inbred newt. learn to use the internet, research the facts about your hardware.
