TF2 crashes - HELP ME :(

Basically, whenever I launch TF2 and I press TAB, my game crashes.
Any ideas? :s
Default hud, Chris’ hi fps – if that matters.
maybe it has smth to do with chris’ cfg? (please dont hate me chris)
it started 2 weeks ago~ish, with the tf2replay update I think

Same problem, pvhud, Chris maxfps cfg.

Doesn’t work
go to steam settings->in-game->and untick enable steam community in game.
this helped to me.
I had the same, I created a new cfg with tf2mate and changed my hud and now its fine, it still crashes sometimes, like when i join a server or use goto in a demo but i can use tab at least

Which hud did you have, and which did you change to?
How can it be related to my configs if you haven’t even used my configs for 2 weeks Ret? ;)
Don’t think it’s related to the configs, at least directly. I’ve not changed anything, so Valve must have broke some shit if so. I’m not able to reproduce it, and I’ve heard of people not using my configs who have the same issue. It’s no doubt Valve’s fault once again.

Make sure your hud is updated. :x
Edit: If I don’t seem like i’m being unhelpful, I don’t want ret to play any more =)
