i’m thinking to buy a new screen
i actually have a 1680*1050 and 22″ widescreen.
i found some really cool product matching my criteria

i have some question like :

is a 27″ too big to play ?
is 1920*1200 better than 1920*1080 ? ( 16:10 vs 16:9 )
is the 120hz ( 3d ready ) feature really useful ?

also if you know some cool products then please advise me.

+1 even if you have no intentions of using the 3d feature, the 120hz will make everything so much smoother. Not sure how long you’ve played pc games, but ctr screens have 120hz and they are fuck smoother than standard TFT/TN panels.

So if your comp can handle the extra load, go for a 120hz.

those were good screens last year, look at the refresh-models, I have the latter one of those and is still happy, but looking to upgrade for better colors. Getting old.

also, what monitor would be worth getting in a few months time (got the monies then, not before) ? Nothing with lower resolution than my 17″ WUXGA screen has here, anything less is imo shit.

23.6 inch / 1920×1080 / 2ms / good price these days.
I got one; no complaints. And comes in black without the orange as well.

if your fps doesn’t drop lower 120, get 120hz monitor.
