Is this thing default or something? I have Game sounds and Music maxed, Sound Quality High, but it’s veeeeery quiet.
I think it might have something to do with Faildows 7, but I’m not sure.

Also, when I join Mumble, my microphone boost goes down from 30db to 10db for no reason. This SURELY has to do with Windows, but I have no idea how to fix it.

I’ve got a similar problem. Sometimes the volume in mumble drops down so I can barely hear anyone, I reopen it, and it’s fine.

You can go to your volume tab in the bottom right and open up the mixer and heighten the volume of tf2, that will usually fix it.
I had the same problem

If you don’t have the sound mixer down in the bottom-right corner you can use the search field in the start menu (bottom-left) to find it. It’s called “adjust system volume” but you can just type in volume and it’ll show up.

TF2 getting all quiet is usually caused by already having two other sound sources open before launching TF2. For instance, if you’re watching a youtube video while listening to music with windows media player, Windows7 will lower the volume of TF2.
Windows7 is just retarded with sound in general

Lol. Such an obvious solution to such a big problem ;/

I don’t recall tampering with the TF2 Mixer, though.
Thanks for the help, guys
