Ok so since the past week, my mouse has started acting weird. During any match be it public or pcw it’s always freezing on me for about 5-10 seconds then my fps drops to 10 and my whole game lags for about 20 seconds which is really starting to get irritating, it has only started doing this in around the past week so if anybody has any suggestions, pls don’t hesitate to post them :). I use a deathadder 1800dpi if that helps in someway as well.

sounds like your pc not your mouse?
mine sometimes does that, but its usually if theres something running in the background…

I never run anything in the background when i run tf2 apart from mumble, and i doubt mumble causes it because it happens with and without mumble being open
I think your mouse unplugs or somewhere you’re wire is damaged so it looses connection, and after that is restores and pc loads drivers for your mouse thats why you get lag.
I tried changing to windows vista basic colour as well but it didn’t help and now my mouse is starting to freeze while not in tf2. Has anyone got any good suggestion on how to fix this?
If so please tell.
Also during tf2 when the mouse freezes it makes a noise as if i just plugged it in and when i exit tf2 i see around 4/5 deathadder icons on the lower right of my screen.
use a different usb port. it sounds like either your cable is knackered or the motherboard usb connection has been damaged, if it keeps disconnecting. have you tried using a different mouse?

I’ve tried 2 different usb ports and it keeps freezing in each, i’ll try a different mouse now.
