Getting banned on war servers

Hello there,
I have a quite annoying problem for some weeks now : everytime I join a war server I get banned within a few minutes/seconds (Disconnect: Added to banned list), except on my team’s server (LZ.war Pink 78.46.73.57:27125).
I’m currently living in a student building in Poland, and one of my mates usually watch the matches I play with stv, and when I get banned he is disconnected too… I guess the problem comes from this side.
So, any ideas ?

I got banned from a lz.war server during an official. Good times.

Maybe you have something in your cfg that tries to put the RCON password everytime you join a server. If you have your team server’s rcon, it won’t ban you. But i can be wrong tho

I’m not using rcon on any server so I don’t think that’s the problem ;) . As I said, there’s probably something wrong with my connexion but I really don’t get how it can get me banned…

That’s strange, the PRec settings are not displayed in the other settings…
Anyway, which settings do you think can be involved ?
Maybe if you’ve got it set to auto record the stv then it will attempt to rcon in and you get banned after so many re-tries. Wrong password except on your server?

That’s a possibility. Do you know how to check my settings with the console commands ?

Well today I didn’t got banned… The only thing I changed is unequipped my hat (painted Stash)…

This. The record stv thingy got me banned plenty of times as both teams readied up :D
Haha, last time I got banned, I didn’t even had the time to type “hi” :D the game was not yet starting. I’ll use the command if it fails again…
That could still happen if you’ve got it set to record every game, it then records from the beginning of you joining the server, not the beginning of the match itself.
