Basically my microphone is transmitting signals that would normally come out through speakers through my microphone to other people in mumble as well as my voice. So people in mumble can hear things like windows and in-game sounds as well as their own voices causing ridiculous echoing. The sounds are also much louder than my voice according to my teammates.

-I have reinstalled the drivers that came with my motherboard.
-My microphone previously worked on Windows 7
-I have checked the ports on my motherboard
-I have checked mumble is using the corret device

Test with different mic to see if it still happens? The microphone itself is probably the problem.

Tested with different mics, makes no difference.

The “What-U-Hear” (yes, it is actually named like this, I’m not kidding) device is not accidentally unmuted under recording devices?

Edit: Someone pointed out this can also be named “stereo mix” with some manufacturers drivers.
