I recently had to reformat my whole laptop. Reinstalled everything fine. But when I start TF2, I get these:

This happens when I have Chris’ highframes config. Usually, with that cfg i get virtually no fps drops, but now it has the graphics issue coupled with fps drops to around 20.

any clues?

already playing in dx8. mat_bumpmap “1” worked. but my fps still dips to below 20 :(
