inb4 “get a better connection/pc douche”
Ever since the shogun update where they released all those japanese swords and lord knows what other crap, I’ve been having ping spikes at random intervals, mainly from 25-60 up to 400-600 ping, which lasts for about 5-10 secs, maybe more, then returns to normal. It NEVER happened before, it happened AFTER the japanese update (as i call it).
Also, mumble gets sort of ‘ripped to shreds’, and I hear broken speech.
Other games like CSS and SC2, pings are fine.
FPS is generally stable, lingers on 120.
Can someone tell me what the fuck is going on?
But then, why is it that in every pcw, it’s only me who lags out that way? :O it’s frustrating, especially as a med in a clutch moment :/
I’m rarely ever repeated.

It’s Valve, can’t fix it yourself.
Spike is reloaded not repeated >.>
This needs a bump before the officials start.
Is there no fix to this, or do I have to play with absurd warps/spikes and hope I dont eat a rocket to the face?

QQ to Valve, only way at the moment.
Dummy have the same problem.
Well, try to make a local game and see if the same happens there, If not I would’ve see if you got some loss on the server that you’re on. If that is the case then I would’ve changed server.
to check if you got some loss use net_graph 3 and see what happens at loss. 0 is best.

I used net_graph 3 and took a screenshot with it. You’ll see that there is gaps rather than jumps, which completely baffles me.
Odd thing is, I have no problems whatsoever on a server full of bots, but when human players are in, I get ridiculous spikes.
