using java or not, it’d still use the vnc port
this would work if i’d run the vnc on port 80 (as thats the only open port here), but i run a webserver at home so thats no option
anyway it started working again in the afternoon.. no clue why it wasnt working in the morning – everything else worked fine

then getting on irc through 80 should be no problem
Here we go again. Upon trying to connect, I get a popup saying “An error occured: No RRset entries.”
Anyone any idea what that means?

use port 443 for your irc session on home server
