When i’m trying to install new version of mumble, error appears. It says: “Windows installer error. Can’t launch programm, required to install.”

Any ideas?

i was doing this every new 1.2.3 release (like alfa, beta, rc, … )

have you tried to install a different program? maybe not the mumble bugs out, but the windows installer

open console, navigate to the folder where the setup-file is located. execute the following command:

msiexec /i Mumble-1.2.3.msi /l*v install.log

worked for me. magic.

If the installation still fails, post the install.log.

Hey guys, gonna “up” this thread again. While servers where accepting my 1.2.2 version, i didnt do anything to remove this problem. So, here is the install.log. If anyone wil help me, i can give him v. Bonk Helm ^^
