I don’t get this whole dos attack thing, why would people attack pcws and stuff? I can kind of understand people attacking tf2tv streams and such, as pathetic as it is, but why bother with other games? Is it one person just being a waste of space or a lot of them?

Does anybody know if hiperz is running Ronny/Arie’s their script?
Because this has never happened on our own hiperz server, but as soon as we play a pcw off then we get this shit.
We didn’t get this at all until last night. Suddenly 3 different servers we’re playing on in the same evening get the timeout.
Thankfully found this thread and will change our server settings to hide it from the master list…
been running servers without ronny/arie’s firewall stuff, only using hide_server 1 (or w/e it is) and no problems yet for about a week now
Ah finally saw this thread. It’s been happening to our clan server as well, 3 times we were playing a pcw on our clan server, 3 times it crashed/whatever half-way trough the match.
Will try to (make our clan leader who owns the server) try the suggested fixes. Many thanks :)
hide_server 1 with this we did’t receive any chrashes. It resets every map. We are using clanhost.

put hide_server 1 in server.cfg
